“By George and everybody else”

This left handed salute to American history would give Martha Washington a migraine. During our anachronistic tour de farce back through time, Thurston Osgood, host of the interview program, “Meet the Patriots,” brings you face to face with the people who made our country what it is today and give you a chance to get even with them for it. Ben Franklin flies his kite on stage, George Washington sports his famous wooden smile, and Betsy Ross puts the first flag together before the wondering eyes of the audience. (It’s a wonder she ever got it right.) This play works well with the heterogeneous mix of ages and grade levels Kindergarten through 6th and adults.

“What a dope”

Kids help the good guy say no to drugs and see that justice is done in this saga of the good, the bad and the partially beautiful. As Rufus Wellfellow (one of the Ne’er-do-Well fellows) competes for the throne against our hero Ralph, the partially beautiful Princess Anne waits at the altar for the winner to make her his queen, or at least make her an offer. The kids use what they know about saying no to drugs to help our cast make good decisions in some bad situations. Along the way we meet a low life, see a high jump and thrill to some “stunning” special effects. In the end the kids are right, the evil Wellfellow is wrong, and the princess gets her man.
